I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to produce and co-producer many pieces for CBC — this includes CBC Vancouver, CBC Radio’s The Current, and CBC Yukon — the latter two thanks to the 2025 CBC Summer Scholarship I received. Producer duties depended on the piece, but the majority included pitching or being assigned a piece, doing background research, reaching out to potential guests and pre-interviewing them, scheduling for live or pre-taped segments, acquiring tape through streeters, and other interviews, and writing up background and a script for the hosts that are submitted to my executive-producer for feedback.
